One City Park, Bradford
SAS provided modern metal ceiling solutions to One City Park, a BREEAM 'Excellent' office scheme. This new Grade A workspace addresses the demand for high-quality offices, with flexible options in Bradford city centre.
One City Park is one of Bradford’s newest landmark offices, designed by architects Sheppard Robson and built on a former police HQ site located in the City Centre. The building tackles historical demands for high-quality office space by providing adaptable floor plans that can keep up with ever-changing work environments.
Within the reception area, SAS International supplied SAS200 with Mesh finished in Jet Black (RAL9005) to compliment the industrial interior design and striking steel exterior structure. Other SAS products included SAS740, which was installed within the main foyer in keeping with the overall industrial aesthetic of the building.
Systems SAS330, SAS120 and SAS130 were installed throughout the office spaces to provide a functional metal ceilings solution that offers complete design flexibility and outstanding acoustic performance whilst remaining low-maintenance. These systems provide Class A sound absorption, allowing for an ideal working atmosphere suited for a busy, open plan workplace. Finished in Pure White (RAL9010), creating a bright, clean and open feel to the spaces.
Sustainability has shaped multiple design elements of One City Park, including high-performance glazing, photovoltaic panels, and air source heat pumps to ensure the building operates on renewable energy. The building also benefits from new public spaces to enhance the surrounding area, with seamless connections to the multi award-winning City Park and stepped access to attractive seating areas. More than 300 jobs were created during the build and a further 450 jobs are now based in the building upon completion.
