SAS International provided a bespoke metal ceiling solution for multinational networking and telecommunications company Huawei’s Dublin offices.
Collaborating with Luca Architecture, SAS International delivered a metal ceiling, with a striking perforation, which hit the mark on visual effects. Selected for design support and deliverance, SAS International supplied 117.25m2 of product in Huawei’s offices and meeting rooms.
In recent years the industry has noted a shift from the conventional standard ceilings to a contemporary, industrial, open ceiling trend. To adhere to this specific design movement, SAS150 was chosen featuring a large perforation and specific hanging requirements. In addition, the brief stipulated that the offices and meeting rooms needed to be both acoustically-sound and attractive.
With a life expectancy of 25 years, SAS150 provides easy-access for servicing plus clever acoustic properties. For this project a larger perforation of 6051 was created to produce a high-performance ceiling with a stunning aesthetic.
SAS International also had to ensure the linear lighting could be easily integrated. Although this posed a challenge initially, SAS teams were able to solve the issue using their skill and expertise.
Delivered to a tight deadline, SAS International has ensured Huawei’s new Irish offices have been built to last well into the future.
