Introducing A Ceiling That Truly Defines Clough’s Workplace Culture
SAS International is proud to have contributed to the delivery of Clough’s headquarters, located within the iconic QV1 building in Perth’s CBD. Designed with a focus on wellbeing, efficiency and visual impact, the space demonstrates how ceiling systems can play a key role in shaping both the function and character of a modern workplace.
A key part of the fit-out was a choice by architects, Resen Design, to choose our SAS800 Trucell open cell ceiling system, installed in Clough’s corporate colours and configured in a 150mm x 150mm cell size. Installed in the dedicated employee wellness area, the ceiling forms a bold and engaging design feature that complements the interior architecture while supporting a calming and comfortable environment for staff.
Beyond aesthetics, the SAS800 Trucell system enables the seamless integration of essential services such as lighting and mechanical ventilation. Its open cell structure supports efficient smoke extraction—an important safety consideration in high-occupancy spaces—while ensuring compliance with mechanical and fire standards.
The system’s clean, monolithic appearance is achieved through precise alignment with the Tee Grid system, delivering a refined, uniform look that elevates the space’s overall design. The end result was a high-performance ceiling solution that is as practical as it is visually impactful.
SAS International would like to thank Progressive Materials for their supply and support on this project and acknowledge the talented teams at Rezen Design and Profix Projects for their collaboration in bringing this concept to life.
