Static Stretch
Sustainability built into the core of the design inline with RIBA embodied carbon.
In collaboration with Camira, SAS TexTiles combine soft, woven fabric with low embodied carbon steel and aluminum in a simple design aimed at comfort, functionality and, most importantly, reuse. Many of our popular ceiling systems are fabric compatible with tension achieved through static or active engineering.
The design and production process reflects our commitment to circularity and sustainability. SAS TexTiles are durable, ensuring long-term performance, yet suitable for creative reuse or adaptation at any time. They offer excellent sound absorption and a warm, elegant look, elevating the sensory experience and aesthetic appeal of any space.
SAS Static Stretch TexTiles were central to the design, combining soft woven fabric with low embodied carbon metal in a glue-less system. The executive boardroom features a bespoke oval SAS600 raft. Meeting rooms use SAS200 Hook-On panels in Kingsmead melange black; canteen seating areas use SAS200 mesh rafts.

Acoustic Absorption
Suitable for large tiles and complex shapes, compatible with SAS systems and bespoke applications. Fabric is clamped into a self-locking aluminum frame system with springs maintaining constant tension over the product lifetime (active). Purposefully designed for longevity and re-use, the system allows refurbishment time and time again.
