SAS Recover moves ceilings beyond the take-make-dispose model. Through circular design and take-back services, durable SAS systems are refurbished, re-certified and reintroduced into use. Unlocking the full material lifespan, lowering embodied carbon, and giving metal ceilings a second life; all by design.
Extending the product lifespan.
We have been involved in numerous take-back projects to test logistics, research material capabilities and invest in new manufacturing techniques. Thousands of tiles have been rescued from significant landmark projects based in London to be refurbished and recertified to a better-than-new condition.
Locally sourced. Low carbon. Less paint.
Living their second life, SAS Recover tiles can have up to 85% less embodied carbon than when they were originally installed. Developments in processing and paint spraying technologies have also provided new avenues for changing the original color and using 60% less paint.
CERTIFIED
Our SAS Recover process is included in our Cradle to Cradle Certified accreditation and has a third-party verified EPD.
