SAS International's Architectural Metalwork offers intelligent integration of services from the design stage, with easy access for maintenance.
We have a range of ways to integrate services into our acoustic ceiling systems all of which are designed for ease of access and with aesthetics in mind.
Service Binnacles
These architectural units are designed to fit in the ceiling and wider aesthetic. They often function as points for users of the space to interact and get information from as well as providing a shell around various service points and connections. Service binnacles are often used in airports and train stations however, they can also be used in large open internal spaces where you may wish to display regular information. We can design these modules to incorporate a wide range of services from air management to cash machines. Our service binnacles are available in our standard finish or any RAL colour with the addition of anti-bacterial and anti-graffiti coatings optional.
Service Bulkheads
Service bulkheads are a way of linking one level to another. They can also be used to house services like air management systems, water, and power. We offer a range of bulkhead systems in a variety of styles shapes and finishes. Because our systems are fabricated offsite there is less wastage during installation as well as time to carefully design the finish to match the ceiling system. Our service bulkhead systems can be made to any size and shape in any RAL colours and closure panels designed to fit the project.
Service Gantries
When there is a requirement to run services over a large open area our gantry systems are ideal. They not only carry the services safely and easily across the space they can also be designed to create more visually interesting spaces. They offer quick and easy access to services including water, power, air, and more. Service gantries are ideal for parge spaces like transport hubs and large indoor shopping areas. SAS can design and fabricate any style and finish required for your project.
Service Rafts
Service rafts are suspended modules that are continuous and run right across large ceiling areas. These modules can house all the usual services and provide easy access for maintenance. They are also ideal for signage, lighting, sprinklers systems, and more. As with all our service integration products our rafts can be designed to meet any aesthetic and physical brief required.
