Project Swap, The Interchange, Croydon

SAS International collaborated with BEH Interiors and 3Equals 1 Design to deliver premium metal ceiling solutions for the stunning redevelopment for Project Swap, Croydon.

For this commercial space, it was crucial to deliver a solution with design flexibility due to the curved shape of the building. To meet this brief, SAS500 acoustic baffles and SAS500i lighting baffles were specified. To compliment this, purpose made trapezoidal SAS330 was used as infill panels to assist with the acoustics and to seal off visibility into the void.

The striking feature ceiling in the breakout area was created by installing the SAS500 and SAS500i on a radial layout. An ideal acoustic treatment for open or exposed applications, SAS500 is a visually engaging alternative to suspended acoustic ceiling systems. Finished in PPC Deep Black, the baffles were arranged at varying depths to create the desired effect stipulated by the client.
