SAS International’s SAS600 acoustic rafts were specified for the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland.

The bespoke floating rafts, which feature throughout the office areas, integrate lighting and electrical services along with providing excellent acoustic benefits, fulfilling the need from the client for a high level of acoustic absorption within the space while still meeting aesthetic demands.

All service apertures were integrated into the rafts at the factory to provide a superior finish and also reduce installation time on site. Specially designed end panels were used to allow the rafts to fit inside the concrete coffers.

A pre-fabricated lighting and acoustic solution, the SAS600 rafts allow for sustainable natural mass cooling by facilitating free air movement to the open soffit.
