The biggest SAS project in Asia, West Kowloon Station began the installation process in December with a traditional Bai San feast and ceremony.<\/p>\n

Staff celebrated the beginning of the fit-out process in Hong Kong by eating three roast pigs, six ducks, six chickens and a large amount of fruit as part of a traditional Bai San ceremony. Over thirty thousand square meters of bespoke architectural metalwork will be used in the multi-story, 25-acre terminus which is predicted to be completed by the end of 2016.<\/p>\n

Bai San is a popular ritual which is typically performed to honour one\u2019s ancestors by praying with incense and burning money. In Hong Kong, Bai San ceremonies are traditionally held at the start of construction projects to receive good luck and fortune.<\/p>\n
