Testing & Standards
SAS International is accredited and tested to numerous international standards for manufacturing. Designed to check and continually improve our H&S practices, product quality, ethical practices and material sourcing. SAS International has committed to meeting these standards across the entire group’s facilities: Apollo Park (Truline), Bridgend, Maybole and Reading.

ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) certification has been achieved throughout SAS International. It ensures that quality procedures are met and maintained while providing the consistency and improvement of working practices.
ISO 14001 (Environmental Quality System) certification has been achieved at all SAS Manufacturing facilities. An Environmental Management System (EMS) ensures that we reduce our environmental impact of manufacturing processes with regular management reviews.
ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) has been achieved at all SAS Manufacturing facilities. Promoting a safe and healthy working environment has been key to ensuring product quality; the certification provides an independent confirmation of existing practices.
Living Wage Employer status provides an ethical benchmark for responsible pay. Employers choose to pay the Real Living Wage on a voluntary basis and ensure that employees earn a living wage rather than just the legal minimum wage.
Fire testing is a core component to our product validation process. As new products and materials are introduced they are externally tested to multiple international fire ratings to provide clear data and help with interior design decision-making.
Cradle to Cradle certified Silver accreditation aligns with BREEAM, LEED, WELL, and many other ESG accreditors in the construction sector. It consists of five areas of assessment: clean air and climate protection, material health, product circularity, water and soil stewardship, and human rights and social fairness.
